I don't think too many supporters of any club would disagree with this sentiment. Salah is on an extremely lucrative contract and is (or maybe was) adored by LFC's support. Poor way to engineer an exit. Alexander-Arnold is probably looking on with bemusement.

This is how Chris Mason, like a child filled with wonder, described "the choreography and theatre that surrounds a Budget" in Feb 2024, when a male Tory Chancellor was in post.

"Plans, or even just options, can be floated... Reaction to them can be tested. Opponents can be teased or wrongfooted." πŸ‘€

No they're not for me either. I've read the odd horror story where people have used them on holidays/short breaks and they've ended up with some skin complaint, either wrong chemicals or none, or perhaps not even clean as you said.

31 years ago today The 1994 British Comedy Awards took place and Spike Milligan, nervous and a bit bladdered, committed lèse-majesté to the delight of tabloid editors across the land.

Unfit, but utterly unbeatable

There was another one in the early hours a few years ago. It left a crack in our bedroom wall. Mrs H was bracing for Armageddon while I managed to sleep right through it and missed the whole thing.

Women being allowed their own institutions without being compelled to admit blokes is a good thing right? I mean unless you're into coverture and all that old regressive stuff.

KGH in #Blackburn is a superb concert venue. I'm delighted to see this. Probably the best medium-sized gig venue in the NW and a worthy rival to those in the cities.🎸🎢

A scenic rural landscape featuring gently sloping hills divided by multiple dry stone walls forming irregular, terraced fields. The foreground and midground display lush green grass, while the upper hills transition into muted brown tones with patches of exposed rock. Two small, traditional stone barns with pitched roofs are scattered among the fields, blending into the natural setting. Several leafless trees stand along the terraces, and a few white sheep graze on the grass. The sky above is overcast, casting soft, diffused light across the scene, creating a calm and pastoral atmosphere.

Ancient dry-stone walls and field barns are defining features of the Dales landscape - shaped over thousands of years by people and nature. This view is from the edge of Grass Woods (Grassington) looking in the direction of Conistone.
