Sure, the Church sucks in many ways, but ordinary Catholics have much healthier, closer-to-nature (read: pagan) ways of dealing with loss and longing. Grief doesn’t magically disappear after a few days—not even after a year. Pieces of it stay with you, and ritual cycles help.

Predictably, they’re downplaying it by claiming it’s from old medical equipment.

If true, then, why haven’t there been past reports? Do they really believe healthcare just arrived in the country?

Malawi’s new farmhand: AI that speaks the local language Ulangizi AI combines ChatGPT’s power with traditional know-how and government data to help crops — and families — flourish.

In Malawi, a nonprofit has deployed an AI chatbot that can speak the local language of Chichewa and give useful information to farmers via WhatsApp. Farmers say the chatbot’s advice saved their crops from pests and poorly suited agricultural chemicals.

I’ve been spending the last fortnight listening to songs I loved towards the end of my undergraduate years.

I recall there being a long period of silence starting from 2012 to 2014 in that hue of genre that I couldn’t seem to prove.

But, the recent media rabbit hole I engaged in proved me right.

So it's bad for the economy when "immigrants take your jobs", but it's good for the economy when AI takes your jobs.
