hire them. It's REALLY hard already for visibly trans people to get jobs, even before this shit.

Support places that have trans people working front of house, and make sure owners know that's part of why you're there.

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.

No disabled person should be forced to keep working (when they're not well enough to) simply because they can't afford not to.

Financial security should never be the deal-breaker, it should be a guarantee.

If someone isn't able to work, they're not able to work.

The idea that we can try to do better by one another is reinforced each time you wear a mask.

There's a bond shared between those who take precautions and this speaks to why: there is joy in solidarity, compassion and kindness. Showing that you care enough to try is a radical act of love and trust.

As someone who has also had a spinal fusion operation (mine was cervical) and years of horrific pain, I think the x-ray photo on his profile is far more important in understanding the shooter's motivations for attacking a health insurance CEO than any retweeting activity or Goodreads reviews.

Have you seen anything more geared towards institutions rather than individuals about the "bodily autonomy" argument against mask mandates? My wife is a teacher and wants her school to bring back even some of their masking policies but they say that it would violate bodily autonomy
