A backstory...My friend, Jerry Seltzer owned the ticket co in SF. There were over 20,000 unsold tix for this show. The next day Jerry took the unsold tix (this was before computerization) to the county dump. Using ebay ticket stubs as a basis, those unsold tix would be worth 2 million $$ today

I was in the concert biz when we had the 85 year old Bob Hope doing a show. I asked his mgr why is he still touring? Smiling, the mgr said "He has his asbestos bags packed and wants to be sure his family is ok"
Bob Hope lived another 15 years!
