As for the #AlphabetTechPhoto we'll be focusing on using Light/Shadow to bring an element of mystery/intrigue/interest to our shots. After perusing my library for some examples I now realize that 99% of my shots are from outdoors so these examples may not be the best but the idea is there.

In a spectacle of nature's infinite power, glorious Mount Fitz Roy, battered by furious winds, emerges from the clouds. Patagonia's mountains can be hidden for days, but when they clear, the beauty is endless!

No churning clouds, no furious winds, no dramatic light breaking through, just the sun's first rays dancing across one of our planet's most spectacular and imposing massifs. Torres del Paine, Patagonia.

After several attempts over a period of 6 years, patience finally paid off. For an all too brief moment, Argentinian Patagonia's vast, breathtaking Perito Moreno glacier is dressed in the most beautiful light!

It took me more than 4 years to capture a scene I could only dream of. A magnificent Condor soars above the peaks of Argentina's Mount Fitz Roy, as they are spot lit in beautiful morning light.

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV 20sec @ f14 ISO 100 - Focal Length 44mm Lighting provided by a vehicle and building lights. Tri-pod used. Subject remained in frame for approximately 10-12 seconds before moving out. Why the movements are not captured is still beyond me. The subject is transparent (ghosted) due to the limited time in-frame. B&W shot of a person looking down a street painted on the side of a building. The street scene would be from the 1930-40s in rural Alberta Canada.
