Frebbventure is a game I have a hard time fully understanding. It does so many things in so many weird ways, and in most cases it ends up making an enjoyable experience despite its flaws, which is why I am so obsessed with it.

Stranger of Paradise is essentially a "what if we grabbed soulslikes and merged it with a handful of action game mechanics", which leads to a surprisingly good campaign with bizarre RPG mechanics and frustratingly confusing post-game DLC content.

One of the most memorable rouge-lites I have played in my life, since it is essentially Megaman Battle Network without the tedious parts.
Has admittedly a high skill floor at first, but it can become surprisingly addictive really fast.

For as basic Redmatch 2 is, I still come back to it from time to time. Sometimes all I need is a game about shooting guns.
