As we celebrated the 10 years anniversary of the comic last weekend, we've decided to do a re-run of the comic! I'll be reposting the whole thing, one page weekly, on Mondays like we used to! -Related to the image, Guillaume is working on a tabletop role-playing game setting set in the Forest! It’s still in the very early stages of development but there’s a lot of potential for fun here! The idea for now is to have the players group up as a team of adventurers who then ventures in the mysterious areas of the magical Forest. Treasure, knowledge, enemies and the arcane are waiting for them! (Like I said, still early stages of development but I (Eve) think this is a really awesome idea!) -Guillaume went through the early pages of the comics to re-do the speech bubbles so that they are aesthetically more uniform over the whole comic. And then, I went through the pages, cleaned them up a bit, re-formatted and re-uploaded all of them. We basically gave the comic a little clean and a shine. To mark this anniversary, I will start posting the whole thing again over on the comic’s Bluesky account (starting Monday, March 2nd!). -Last little update, we are still thinking about a printed edition of the comic. There are many factors to balance out and it’s not easy to decide (one big volume? multiple small ones? box set?). We know that we want to have it printed locally but then there’s the issues related to shipping physical parcels worldwide. It was complex and expensive before and it has just gotten worse over the last year with all the tariff stuff. That’s where we are on that project. (There are also a good few years of October projects connected to TToT that would make for super fun printed booklets, but that’s a bit stuck because of the same shipping issues). The Discord server is still there and you can come in to lurk and keep an eye on all the TToT-related projects, or to share your thoughts and preferences on all of them! And, again, we are incredibly grateful for your support on this project. We really wanted to share this story but it’s the comments, feedback and interactions with you guys that made it so worthwhile. Thank you so, so much for reading!

The comic is 10 years old!! Hard to believe, it feels like yesterday and forever ago at the same time. Aside from this super cool anniversary image that Guillaume cooked up, there’s a few things going on behind the scenes... (🧵)

Ever since reading Thief of Tales I have been badger pulled on badgers being the superior dwarf shape

The three main characters of The Thief of Tales are sitting in a clearing. The ground is covered in vegetation. Nevhna (a woman with red hair) is sitting on an old tree stump covered with leaves and moss. The Herald (a red cardinal bird) is perched on a stone sculpture among the roots of the stump. The Storm Crown (a dark wolf with 3 crystals floating above their head) is sitting a bit farther, looking at the other two characters.

Now that the comic is done, we needed some kind of cover for the website.
So that the first page anyone sees wouldn't be the last of the story.
