I tease, the dub for Battle of Gods is actually extremely powerful. Easily some of the best vocal direction they've had in a long while. Controversial opinion but I think Jason Douglas clears Yamadera as Beerus, and I've always liked Yamadera. Ian Sinclair is a wonderfully campy Whis as well.

Beerus and Whis are instantly some of the greatest breaths of fresh air the franchise had in a while. I remember at the time us Dee Bee Zee Americans were really annoyed it was a comedy movie with some action scenes and not just 2 hours of Schemmel passing a kidney stone, but I laughed my ass off.

Finally got to Battle of Gods in the great DB films rewatch. I got to see it in its original theatrical run back in the day, which was a special little treat. Anime movies were getting slightly more common to be screened, but I remember we had to drive out further than usual. Loved it then and now.

This bit in the From Russia With Love game made me laugh out loud. You've got a fairly grounded, low key fight based on the one in the movie, then the most video game looking fucker of all time slides into frame.
