I've been sick the last 2 days and this weekend is Halloween and my Moms birthday. I MUST BE WELL.

So I've been on a new medication since June and I was just informed in TODAY's check-in appointment that it makes my birth control ineffective.

I feel like that's day ONE info.

Regardless of what the calendars might say, today is actually the first day of fall because my withholding girl cat Bernadette crawled onto my lap under the blankets to cuddle.

IT GOT ON MY HANDS. I literally just scrubbed my hands with dish soap and rubbing alcohol and the stink won't LEAVE.

I ordered a bottle of vanilla essential oil for my diffuser and was accidentally sent a bottle of musk. They told me to keep the original bottle, and it is HAUNTING my house. I tossed it forever ago, but I swear I touch a towel, or open a drawer and the GHOST of it wafts up. Musk is the WORST.

So one of my utilities informed me they had been improperly under-charging me for almost 3 years, and they'd not only be correcting my rate, but charging me retroactively. This month is the first month with the correct rate. And my bill is....

$6.91 higher.

Had a breakthrough in therapy today...my cat, who never lets herself appear on camera, sat in direct view of the camera for a full 5 minutes.

Also, my therapist watches Dimension 20.

I lost my wallet, frantically retraced my steps all the way back to Wednesday with no luck.
I finally gave up and was sadly going through the process of getting all my cards and IDs replaced... AND MY CATS batted it out from the random placed it had been wedged.
They were rewarded with treats.

So every time I go 'I'm really in the flow, flying through this row.' I wlll then drop a stitch.
This blanket doesn't need to be finished until December but it feels VERY URGENT.

4 days to fall, 400 days to the fall of humanity. Time to bake banana bread. What the hell, make it chocolate chip.

When you can't get a crochet pattern to work, and you literally are watching video tutorials frame by frame until you realize the pattern you're working from has a TYPO and is missing 2 stitches in the middle of a row!

So I'm trying to add more protein to my diet as I'm working out more and cutting back on carbs.

I went to the gym for the first time in 6 years. Pray for how I wake up tomorrow.

I bought tickets last month to 4 shows in NYC for August. The seats I paid $118 for 4 weeks ago are now $622 after the Tony's. DAMN.

Summer Fridays are in effect. I now get 65 hours back for myself. I will do absolutely nothing useful with this time.

I'm getting a piece of antique family furniture delivered this weekend. So I opened up the 3D model of my house I created, created a 3D rendering of it and rearranged my furniture for 30 min until I found an arrangement I liked.

Being a cat mom is so weird because I'm crying because both of the cat used the new litter robot on the first night. In the first HOUR.

Saw Old Friends and bawled my eyes out multiple times, but no more than when there was a photo tribute to Stephen to 'Not a Day Goes By' and when it showed a photo of the first rehearsals of Sunday in the Park with George and Bernadette Peters voice CRACKED with a cry.

I may never recover.
