I can't think of any shows where journalists are portrayed as villains, aside from The Hack, which, considering it's a true story, is totally right to do so?

Spot on - even just grabbing a senior figure for an in-depth interview on issues would be a better use of time and resources.

This is the sort of thing you write when you have absolutely nothing to write about. I read it from start to finish and came away learning nothing, and being none the wiser for the time I spent engaging with it.

Problem is, there'd be no one left. Only five members in the parliament before the 2025 election owned no property and Max Chandler-Mathers has since been voted out.

The only solution I can think of is an independent body setting the housing agenda, but I'm sure that'd be riddled with issues too.

I fundamentally agree with Ed Husic here. Our politicians setting the housing policy that directly enriches themselves through vast property portfolios is wrong on so many levels. No wonder negative gearing and CGT has survived as long as it has.

I had the same reaction when I read it earlier. We can clearly see he's financially enriching himself, you don't need to weasel around it.

Internet discussions moving from forums to Discord servers is genuinely terrible for finding information about niche hobbies.

If what he's saying is accurate, then he's being charged to generate power and for transmission upgrades he paid for. No wonder he broke the NDA.
