The same elections for project leadership still happen, and any governance change takes place with all maintainers of the project involved in discussion and voting. The formation of the company was modelled off of previous ways such as Drupal/Acquia to ensure a company can’t swallow the project.

Initial (experimental) support for Gitea has landed in GARM.

We added built-in CI/CD that is GitHub actions compatible so you can use the same workflows and steps as you would over there too, to make the transition easier.

On the off chance you're using Gitea's Debian package repository feature you may've been annoyed this year by debian testing refusing package signatures. If you upgrade to Gitea 1.24.0 and run `gitea admin regenerate keys --config /path/to/app.ini` they should work again.

i think i’m just gonna take git into my own hands at my workplace. i’m gonna start up a gitea server. i can’t stand not having my ansible directory git tracked and properly servered.

can also use this as a way to simplify the host setup scripts by turning our rsyncs into git clones
