2. After seeing “Dragnet ‘87,” I was talking with a friend of mine who said he didn’t like it. I loved it and patiently went through all of the well-done takes on the original show. I finished and he said, “those are good points. But it was supposed to be a comedy and I didn’t laugh once.” 😉😂🤷‍♂️

Two things-

1. I did the play that’s based on in college and it was the only time I’ve ever fired a handgun in my life. The director insisted on a .357 magnum with blanks for the noise. This was right after Jon-Erik Hexum accidentally blew his brains out with a blank so… there were concerns.
