Might’ve accidentally talked way too much about swords in an interview. But it’s true. I’ve always liked swords. Here’s the one my dad made for me as a kid, when I was only about this big. I painted the blade in sparkly silver nail polish to make it shine.

Yet nothing changes.

Nothing really changes. We're still stuck in the same way, doing the same things, and it all returns to not truly being genuine with ourselves.

I want to try again. To be genuinely sympathetic again.

At least that way I'll try to live the way I want to.

It's sort of difficult to be genuinely sympathetic nowadays with how everything is.

Maybe it's just me but cynicism and pessimism just provided a sense of superiority of being somewhat aware of what happens. That gave a sense of control by proxy.

You should be happy when your friends being happy because it far outweighs being sad when your friends are sad.

We're all a bunch of kids running on coping and fighting irrationalities not of our own making and trying to find the comfort in the absurdities, the smallest of things, only for that comfort to be slowly taken away by the very same irrationalities or eroded by the cruel yoke of time.

Kikokugai might be quite weak compared to most Urobuchi's works, but it is still a work from him at the end of the day. and there's simply something unique with what he wrote.

Looking back at my art from January this year, to one of my most recent ones I'm very pleased with this year's improvement. I'm currently working on a relatively big art style change to make it more interesting and expressive. I hope you will like it!
