“That’s an understatement” Draco whispered as Hermione left.

He was going to be thinking about those tingly lips and fiery spirit for a long time.

Hermione was getting flushed. “You’re turning red. We should get you home” Draco said.

“Okay I’m sure your home is very nice, let’s go” Hermione said dreamily.

“I didn’t mean” Draco began to blush.

“I just wants to make you red too” she said with a little smile. “This has been fun”

Hermione looked at Draco as he sipped that drink and she was suddenly aware that she was reaching toward his face and imagining what it would be like to be that glass.

She coughed and grabbed the drink out of his hand instead of caressing his cheek. She took a big swig and coughed again violently

“Oh Granger, I’m sure you don’t mean…”

“No foreplay. Fine. No knowledge of the clit. Fine. But not even touching my tits. I thought blokes love tits. Do I not have nice tits?”

“Oh you’ve got great tits, Granger” he said with a smug sip of his firewhiskey. Maybe the drink was getting to him too.

“He didn’t know how to play quidditch or write prophet articles or please a woman”

Draco started turning red. As an ex-professional quidditch chaser who now wrote the sports news in the prophet it really felt like Granger was jumping to come conclusions about hun.

“Yeah okay maybe he would know an alcohol but he didn’t know anything else!”

He should’ve been watching what else she was drinking. All those lemon drop cocktails had gotten to her.

“This has been a great after work drink but…” Draco was trying to bow out gracefully but Hermione cut him off.

“I broke up with my boyfriend and I’m breaking up with my normal cup of tea. Nothing but whiskey dragons from here on out!”

“You mean fire whiskey?”

“See that’s why I’m here with you. Ron never would’ve known that!” She said tipping over toward him a little.

“I think he’d have known”

“Ummmm Draco…is it supposed to burn?”

He looked down at her pouty lips, gone red and, if the witch was to be believed, tingling with the spice of his drink.

“I told you it wasn’t your cup of tea” he said with a laugh.

“And I told you I’m getting out of my comfort zone” she said.
