doesn't illinois have trust act, that prevents local law enforcement from supporting ice. that would also include helping protect ice facilities i would imagine. so protesting directly outside should be allowed. this might be judgement all from police directly

locally elected officials are the ones that would have to call this out, get a court order and local law enforcement involved if they actually broke the law. but on the other hand local police often break laws themselves too doing their job

stadiums are usually private property but can be a mix too, they can't just show up and force entry into private property without a warrant or court order as part of their mandate. this is held in california too, not too friendly to trump. it will be interesting to see if they show up and are denied
