So I guess it's back to Discord, I guess, where I feel safe and among friends? Being perceived fucking sucks but it's one of the only ways I can find meaning or money so I don't know what the fuck I'm supposed to do. I'm out again, see ya.

Anyway, here I am posting medium-form using a fucking social media platform which I swore I would never do again even amidst knowing no one gives a fucking shit what I say or where I say it. Writing about "culture" or even politics and history seems so fucking selfish and useless right now.

Living like I do on the margins of the "creative world" and seeing someone that genius die not having a full-time gig... that realization really put me in a fucking severely depressive spiral, man.

I didn't really *follow* Kaleb Horton as a writer but after he died I realized he wrote a shit-ton of my favorite longform pieces ever. Ones I realized influenced me, my projects, my researches. And I never even knew it was the same dude.

I'm burned out on every level right now, I haven't felt the real spark of creativity (with a few projects as exceptions) in four years basically. I want to use my limited skills to create to make money but as I mention above, what's the point and how do I even fucking do that in this day and age.

But I'm also so reluctant to make myself into a Product after all the ways I've been used and abused on this front in the past five years. I don't think I have anything really interesting or useful to add to what's going on. Everyone knows shit is fucked. What more will my voice add to that?

I miss posting but I know deep down I just can't do it anymore. It makes me sick mentally and spiritually.
