State AGs Defend Trans Americans in Stunning Rebuke to Trump’s FTC — Assigned Eighteen state Attorneys General unite to stand up in defense of trans Americans, in opposition to a Federal Trade Commission investigation into trans healthcare.

On Friday 18 blue state attorneys general BLASTED the Federal Trade Commission, telling it to back off trans youth healthcare and warning of an insidious attempt to reshape the regulation of medicine in the US.

And nobody covered it.

Trans Patients File Groundbreaking Legal Complaint Against UPMC For Capitulation To Trump UPMC bowed to Trump and abandoned its trans patients, advocates say. It may have violated state law.

1. In a groundbreaking legal filing, transgender patients, represented by Women's Law Project, have filed a legal complaint against UPMC for capitulating to Trump and dropping trans care.

Federal funding threats do not override state law.

A court order from the United States District Court, dated September 9, 2025, in case 1:25-mc-91324-MJJ. The order grants a Motion to Quash a subpoena. Highlighted text explains the judge's reasoning: that the subpoena reflects the administration's disapproval of the transgender community, and its true purpose is to interfere with gender-affirming care in Massachusetts, harass the hospital, and intimidate patients. The judge finds the government failed to show proper purpose and that the subpoena was "motivated only by bad faith." The order is signed by Judge Myong J. Joun.

JUST IN: A judge quashed the subpoena to Boston Children's Hospital by the DoJ that sought the records of trans patients.

NEWS: House Appropriations Committee Republicans released their spending bill for Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies. The legislation would prohibit taxpayer dollars for any type of gender-affirming care for transgender people. This would include programs like Medicaid

The Dept of Ed has proposed changes that would restrict funding for mental health programs in schools. This is another attack on trans and nonbinary youth.

All students deserve to have access to mental health services.
