Original from 2 years ago, as promised. Is the new one close to how this looked? Absolutely not. But thats good. I went into this trying to convey the same story, but the new one conveys it better i believe.

Having succumbed to hypothermia, her mother’s blue-grey tail is visible in the distance behind a tree and snow pile, leaving the tiny kitten lying there, deceased. There are paw prints leading up to and surrounding the silver and grey kitten, showing that her mother put in some sort of effort to make sure she was going to be okay, until realizing it was too late to do anything, leaving the body behind. The sky behind the trees is dark, with stars peeking through at the top, and harsh snow is falling in the foreground.
