I worked in the paleomagnetics lab at the Pacific Geoscience Centre that Ted Irving founded. He was there when I was, he was a super nice guy. Years later, I find out he is a legend, and his paleomagnetic research led to the confirmation of Alfred Wegener’s theory of continental drift.

Sometimes it doesn’t feel like people have put you in a box because that new one has a bit more space than the last one.

Can you stop reading a book mid chapter or do you have to finish the chapter before being able to put it down?

I mean… technically I can do it but I feel pretty irked about it if I have to stop mid chapter.

Cleaned up my desk and gave the monitors some stands. So much nicer now.

I didn’t know you could get Lychee flavoured in that. I’ll have to look for it next time I’m out.

My own personal thing I’m not totally sure of yet.
I think I ran through too much grief over the last few years so getting the creative spark to work for me has been challenging.

For a LRR thing though I’m all in favour of Road Quest 2 or anything like that with friends having an adventure.

It’s a cool idea but I don’t see it happening.

I was doing part time stuff for them and then asked if I could work full time so I could get a proper handle on the vods backlog among the other stuff I was doing.

Getting started started… I’m not totally sure anymore. Just hung out and became friends and then started doing stuff at some point.

When I was a kid I wanted a pet Rhino. I was really into them.

Now I think I’d rather just stick with a cat. Or maybe a small dog.

It’s been a good day so I’m feeling pretty happy about things.
