If having a conversation about it works the first time, good. If not, I'll try 2 or 3 times more. As much as my friend has a part to play in it, I also do to. Im not going to ignore my friend's partner's feelings. I'd expect the same from my friend.

If i know there's something I need to do to help my friend be at peace in their home, id do it. That's how I see friendship. If my friend's partner feels a certain way about me cos of how close I am with my friend, I will reach out to that partner to ease their mind.
