New Castle island taken from new castle passage north of Nanaimo on our way to cross the strait of Georgia and onto desolation sound.

Sometimes I think I’m going overboard on boat maintenance and keeping our shipping ocean going condition. Then there are days on a long journey when I’m just a bit tired, a just a bit off, and at that moment I now the boat is taking care of me that day. Maintenance is like banking self-care.
