Just under 24 hours until the crowdfund closes!
This will be your last chance to get the book until at least summer 2027.

Authors who I've read more than 3 of their short stories?
Esther Alter
PH Low
Dominique Dickey
Isabel J Kim
Sarah Pauling
Thomas Ha
Joe Koch
Sameem Siddiqui
Monique Laban
[redacted]
all of these authors are really good and you should go read their stories!
a close friend of mine forgot to renew her domain, and she got pushed off the first page of search results, and now she's slowly fading from reality
it's really sad, because like, i can't even remember her name anymore
most people don't know this, but if you die in SEO, you die in real life
24.02.2026 17:47 β π 13 π 3 π¬ 0 π 1I have a story in this!
22.02.2026 01:03 β π 11 π 3 π¬ 1 π 0Hooray!!!!

We did it! Weβre fully funded π
This book is now a garenteed reality.
Thank you to every single person who supported, backed and shared.
But thereβs still one week left and three stretch goals to go.
The more it raises, the more goes to good causes.
Hack the planet!!!
Just started the second story.
Another banger.
Why did I set this aside?
Done be afraid of trans story collections!
Embrace them!
It's important to use a closed-grain wood that won't have terrible tearout. I used hard maple.
It's also really important to soak the dowels in lubricating oil (linseed, etc) before you thread them, otherwise the dowel will crumble
Making the screws is quite finicky, in part because I could only source a cheap modern tap and die set (vintage ones are very hard to find, and metal ones aren't meant for wood)
The first 2 screws I made came out great, but after that the cheep steel of the blade started to get dull & crumbly
A close up of the pickler triangle with the wooden screw partly in it. If you screw it all the way in, it will lock the triangle in place so it doesn't move while a kid is playing on it.
Pickler triangles are designed to fold up when not in use, and I wanted a way to lock it in place when unfolded, so I added a wooden screw to the design that will hold the folding part in place so it doesn't collapse when a kid is using it.
20.02.2026 17:12 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A pickler triangle I made. The side boards are made from cherry wood, and the dowels are hard maple painted with milk paint in a rainbow pattern. It's got a wooden screw in one side to lock it in place.
I made a Pickler Triangle!
It was a fun quick build (~1 month), but really made me wish I had 1) a drill press and 2) a dowel making jig (omg why are dowels so expensive)
Also, my first time using milk paint! I usually hate hate hate paint, but milk paint is surprisingly nice to work with.
COVER REVEAL DAY!!! THE BEST DAY!!!
20.02.2026 16:06 β π 21 π 5 π¬ 2 π 0Hi, I want this book to happen. Please make this book happenβback, hit repost, tell a friend. Four days to raise just over $3000, four days to bring more queer stories into the world.

OMGYES - I had the privilege of hearing @robotleblanc.bsky.social perform "Ignore All Previous Instructions" out loud and it's such a banger
(Looking forward to the whole issue!)
black background white text and white frame, around the edges are colorful things like galaxies, planets, leaves, and sea creatures
canβt believe itβs finally my turn to do this but:
COVER REVEAL!!
here is the long-awaited cover for CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF STARSHIPS by the incredibly talented Kamille Rodriguez
pre-order here: www.barnesandnoble.com/w/cloudy-wit...
This story made tangent online soooo mad that they ranted about how much they hated it in a bunch of other completely separate reviews

I'm so glad you liked it!
I got to hear this read by the author in a dimly-lit bar full of hot queer people, and it was a Life Changing Experience.
this is the most Queer As In FUCK YOU story I've ever read in a mainstream magazine
I'd describe it to you, but that would violate bsky's terms and conditions, so you should just go read it instead
you are doing good work!!!
few things make me as hyped for a piece of art as meticulous attention to skillfully crafting the small details
Huge congratulations!!!!

i also love it when publishers make their EPUBs look nice
I just bought PERSONA from @littlepuss.net and the font/layout choices already have me sickos.jpg even before i start reading
A white background overlaid with vertical lines of binary code. A trans femme person of colour fills up one side of the graphic with two mechanical limbs and one hand raised into the air. Beside them, text reads βTrans in the Machine: Chronicling the New Cyberpunk Canonβ. Beneath, bolded in black, is text that reads β//Back Nowβ
Be part of the first-ever book exploring transness in cyberpunk
Your support is an act of resistance in a time of surveillance & censorship
Whatβs more punk than that?
Not-for-profit crowdfund runs until March
Letβs chronicle the new cyberpunk canon together!

No, I do NOT want to read a book on your proprietary e-reader. Give me the EPUB!

incidentally: if you are in the Boston area and have ever appreciated a visit to their collections, know that their admin just sneak-attacked their dei programs and multiple curators of color with layoffs.
www.bostonartreview.com/read/mfa-bos...
This is messed up. I definitely noticed the work these curators did, & especially appreciated when a piece was included amongst the older permanent exhibits.
The permanent furniture exhibit had pots from a Zuni trans woman potter, which was really cool to see (even if the label text was atrocious)
It's possible to extend and retract the blade to take different depth cuts, but the first 2 screws I made I just did it all in one go and it worked fine. The tricky part with doing multiple passes is making sure to start at EXACTLY the same place each time, otherwise you eat the already cut threads
