I love that clock!!

You know what I hate more than anything, concerning politics. I really hate that we cannot respect each other enough, not to be a douche bag toward one another, when we have a difference of opinion. Both sides are guilty (although one side more so). I hate that there is so much hate in the world.

Well, tonight was fun. Just got called a Democrat by my mother, who was using it to hurt me. Like, being anything but a Republican is something to be sorry about.

I'm just gonna put this out there, I just bought a paperback copy of the constitution and bill of rights on Amazon for $2.12. I bought a copy before these get banned...

And...just bought my copy of 1984 from George Orwell. I haven't read it, and I've really been wanting to. Now, to find a place to hide it because I'm sure with Adolf Trump it'll be banned.

I think it pisses her off that I'm putting blame where it's due, and she doesn't like that I'm not taking responsibility for the issue. I sent an olive branch, because she's not doing well, and just sent some well wishes and lend an ear if she needs one.

100% but I don't want to stoop to their level. We are better than that. But absolutely, we only have each other! This won't last forever, but I'm sad for the carnage this is going to leave behind.

I thought the same thing, but here we are. America has spoken and it's gonna be a very scary 4 years.

I was really holding on to whatever sprinkle of hope I had left and just lie to myself and say "it's only 4 years. We can get through this", but after today, I'm terrified what the next 4 years are going to entail.

Is it really worth the effort? Is it really worth my self-worth to send an olive branch to an old friend who ditched me because I refused to apologize from actions that weren't mine? I guess we shall see.
