so imagine my further surprise when i go online and see how many folks hated it! if zenos isnt someones jam thats totally cool, a lot of ppl dont like my other fave villain (ilberd) but i do feel that a lot of ppl in xiv fandom by & large arent/werent meeting the story where its asking to be met.

i absolutely loved in from the cold, the urgency and stakes and dire oppressive mood were perfect for what that sequence was trying to convey. i was honestly kinda surprised when it ended with no one dead except a nameless soldier whose face we never see.
