What kills me about the hockey teams is that the women were likely advised that associating with Trump would cost them endorsement deals, the men were likely advised that it would help them with endorsement deals. And both of those pieces of advice are correct in the short term.

In a historic year for women at the Olympics, Trump specifically awarded male athletes with the presidential medal of freedom at the SOTU. They never cared about women’s sports. They never cared about women, period.

It will cost them money. Hence the regret.

Agree. It won't age well.

Longterm the men will probably wish they'd made a different choice though.
