Never played CoH/CoV so excited to try it but I'm also bad at character creation so that's gonna take some fiddling. Basically deciding between Thunderspy and Homecoming server. I'll poke into both most likely. I like minion based characters, so Mastermind is the first thing to try.

Installed City of Heroes/City of Villains for the first time to try out some private servers. Poked into Thunderspy, mainly because they have more options for player customization, and you can customize pets.

Holy fuck there's so many options. Gonna have to set aside some real time for that.

Finally trying out the... VERY strange looking MMO Animyst on Thursday, and going to be a collab stream with @leshii.bsky.social ! It's gonna be confusing as hell, that's for sure.

Hair's haunted

Tanking, at least with the Runefencer, seems pretty cool in #ffxi . Unlike in FFXIV where you have "push button for tank mode", you actually have to manage your enmity generation skills, and RUN has a lot of magic rune stuff to juggle for it's abilities, plus self-buff spells. Wizard tank.

Stream over! A wonderful 7 hours of progress put up today. Did a bunch of ambuscade runs and finished our Karambit, as well as getting materials for finishing the DRG weapon. Though we still need a pulse weapon for that.

Then did a whole bunch of Seekers of Adoulin plot, and leveled RUN to 50.

Huzzah, we have completed the Karambit, the puppetmaster's ambuscade weapon. Now onto the Adoulin plot!

Started another playthrough of Breath of the Wild recently because I haven't played it in years. Still just getting off the ground, but first 'objective' is to get to the Gerudo area and get the Vai outfit, then go the Zora area and meet up with Sidon....

Also, now that the servers seem to be all cleaned up, and there's solutions like Lossless Scaling to fix the UI scaling issues, I highly recommend people try out Lord of the Rings Online. It's a great MMO that has aged well, and the perfect game for just wandering around experiencing the world.

Seems they did finally fix the server issues as it was pretty smooth the whole time. I think we're almost done the Forochel zone, and probably would have been done sooner but holy moly they want you to go back and forth to the same places a lot for these last few quests.

We're live with some more Lord of the Rings Online! They say they fixed the server issues, so we'll be seeing if we can finally get a long session of the game going. And we're gonna have a winter wonderland time in Forochel.

You know, I never did end up picking up Fatal Fury City of the Wolves, but because of that game I first heard of Salvatore Ganacci. And now I keep watching his music videos ever since so I guess at least something came of that game's release.

I MISS EATING BREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD. Gluten free bread exists but it ain't the same, and there's nothing like all the variety 'real' bread has.

Having a ciabatta roll as a late night snack. So tasty. Worth the tummy hort from gluten intolerance. Almost done one and I can feel my tongue and throat getting all irritated.

That's probably not great. Wonder if the allergy is getting worse.

Yet another day, yet another deep longing for Vanillaware's games to be ported to PC. Mainly Dragon's Crown, but any and all would be good. Mainly 'all'.

CAN CONFIRM. Riot's mods are immediately nuking any mention of mastercard, and giving lengthy chat timeouts for otherwise innocuous comments.

unsure how effective comments will be w/o absolutely massive numbers, but its EXTREMELY telling that mastercard feels they have to resort to this.

With these things they're kinda changing the "Truck Sim" games into a framework for any sort of travel, which is kinda neat. Always felt like stuff like cement trucks (harsh time limits for the job) or dump trucks for simple deliveries would be a neat addition.

Was going back to catch up on American Truck Sim / Euro Truck Sim 2 news, and still no release date on the Road Trip thing for ATS. But they'll have DLC for it of course, starting with a Ford car pack? Well whatever.

Also apparently there's a long-distance bus DLC coming soon for ETS2?

I'll always say that old Obsidian was Troika 2.0: Great stories, complex writing, game mechanics out the wazoo, but their games are borderline unplayable without community patching.

New Vegas is on my list to play on stream as longer RPGs alongside Vampire Bloodlines and Arcanum.

Damn, that's a few hours. I've been planning to play it on stream sometime, but definitely using the community patch then kinda praying that it doesn't implode.
