It well could be the case on twitter too (by now I’ve been here much longer than I ever was there, so I’m not positive), but I’d wager that a larger user base does increase the chance of interaction on a given post regardless of follower account, just by random chance? I could be totally wrong here.

It feels like around here you have to wait for the discourse RNG to pick a topic you want to talk about so a big account posts about it, and only then will you get any interaction
