It was a pleasure to visit the picturesque village of Shapwick on the Kingston Lacy Estate with the National Trust.

I had the opportunity to better understand the role they play as landlord and custodian, and to raise concerns shared by local residents who call this beautiful place home 🏡🌿

Had the real pleasure of visiting Community Integrated Care’s Magna Road service, meeting their fantastic, award-winning team.

During my visit, I met the wonderful people they support, heard their stories, toured the building, and even had the chance to discuss the local bus consultation.

I am proud to have signed this letter. I have spoken many times about the crisis in Gaza, and I will continue to call for meaningful action.

Recognition of a Palestinian State – alongside the release of all hostages – cannot be treated as a bargaining chip. It is essential for lasting peace.

Text - Held discussions with leaders of BCP and Dorset Councils on a range of local issues and explored how we can collaborate more effectively to offer better services.

Met with the Chair of NHS Dorset to gain a deeper understanding of local healthcare challenges and discuss how I can best support Dorset’s healthcare system.

Led a briefing for MPs on Labour’s Devolution and Community Empowerment Bill, focusing on how to challenge the proposals undermining local authorities including, BCP and Dorset Council.

Raised questions with the Minister on the steps being taken to improve digital infrastructure, including broadband and mobile coverage in Dorset.

Wrote to the Secretary for Health to highlight concerns around the impact of poverty on access to healthy food, especially for children and young people.

As part of the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme, I joined colleagues on a visit to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus to learn about the base’s critical role in UK defence intelligence and logistics.

I recently chaired a roundtable in Parliament on palliative care in remote, island & rural communities.

While I supported the Assisted Dying Bill, that support is rooted in a deep commitment to improving palliative care for everyone.

I’ll keep listening and keep pushing better palliative care.

After 1,700 fines were issued for illegal parking this weekend, I asked the Minister:

Is it really fair for council tax payers to foot the £200 bill every time a car is towed — just because a driver chose to ignore the rules?

It's time for the Government to act.
