I'm relieved Labor won't be adding VAT to private healthcare. This is not the same a the situation with private schools.

Many people can't get treatment on the NHS. What if you are looking for cancer, mental health, or other treatments?

Taxing healthcare is an incredibly cruel policy.

It's still healthcare, and its not a luxury if you need it.

extra 20% on top of this. Also people who are looking for treatment for cancer etc thats not provided my the NHS.

Plus therapy, dentistry etc. It's really the luck of the draw whether you would get treated on NHS, and of course the luck of draw which health treatments you need.

Lots of people have conditions that wont be, or can't be treated at their local NHS. I speak as some who has waited over 3 years for a treatment (which despite meeting the NHS guidelines) has been denied from me. It will cost 30K to have it done privately, I don't think its fair I should pay

Half vibe coding, ie "don't write any code but show me what you would do".

This seems to be a nice way to pick up some efficiency, whilst thinking enough about the code, that I can hold a mental model of it.

I'm a rusty coder (Solutions Engineering for my day job) - I've set myself the challenge to get up early every day this week, to re-write the mess that is my vibe coded app, with some love and intention. And a little understanding of NextJs.

Day one goal - setup the basic app structure.
