gentle stretching! is good, actually, but obviously not to the point of further pain. heating pad/compress sometimes. pure resting isnt actually terribly efficient if ur past a point where "moving in any direction hurts"

steam from hot showers, boiling water, etc can help in a pinch, if only a little bit
