Anyway, just doomposting. Will still be suffering through my decision to try and make art a career until circumstance make it no longer viable. Happy to be part of a community that so ardently protects and supports artists (...mostly) for as long as it continues to do so, even if won't last

Art as a hobby isn't going away, but art as a living seems...difficult. The one commodity people still have are ideas. And before only people with artistic talents could realize those ideas into a product. But everyone has ideas, and there's only so much appetite for them.
