yeah… this and Type-Box were 2 of the boards i’d been waiting for for years at this point, so i’ll feel more okay with maybe picking up a board or two if they pique my interest and i see them in passing.

also, if you’re wanting a smaller tactile bump, i’ve been liking Gateron Longjings, they’re factory lubed, full 4.0mm travel, and are actually a bit quiet as well, now that i think about ‘em.

- bump near the top of travel, but could be a bit loud for your use. does your board come with optional case and/or plate foam?

hmmm, most of the nice tactiles are long pole which doesn’t help with how loud the switches are in the board. in terms of a silent tactile, TTC Bluish Whites are pretty good, are silent, and don’t feel super mushy. for a non-silent tactile, Everglide Dark Jades are long pole tactiles with a large-

i am firmly part of palm rest gang. i’ve got a wood one (a Kono Store one, don’t buy from them bc they’ve exit scammed), a plastic one (TX Keyboards, pretty solid), and an aluminum one (Vega wrist rest) that i swap between.

i definitely prefer the texture of DCS keycaps over GMK, but i also already own original Cherry Dolch and Dolch R5… i will still be buying DCS Dolch because i enjoy the colorway a lot, and the set runner for DCS Dolch is a friend of mine.

i think they are a good set to use on dark/neutral colored keyboards! i have my set of original Dolch keycaps on my OGR, although OGR was designed with Dolch in mind.

MX2A is smoother than Hyperglide MX Blacks, and MX2A also are sold in factory-lubed variants. However, i’ve heard MX2A MX Blacks are getting less smooth due to Cherry producing so many of them.
