I've looked at all the details of this deal to end the shutdown reached by a small group of Senate Democrats. I've talked to a number of friends on the Hill to see if there's anything I'm missing. Sadly, I am not.

The only option for Dems now to is to quickly change the narrative again away from shutdown and back to Epstein. With congress coming back Adelita Grijalva will be sworn in and the discharge petition for a floor vote on releasing the Epstein files must go forward.
