Had another conversation with someone who asked whether I had used AI to write my book. I have a hard time conveying how offensive that question is. Not because they think I cheated, but because the question reveals that to them, my whole life’s never added that much value to begin with.

I'd say negative. It often keeps me from looking at the replies to posts, and when I do I end up scrolling through them just to block people that seem to be deliberately toxic. I think it could drive away some posters I'd like to follow as well. Not as bad as X, but not nothing either.

I rarely see it in my following feed because I don't generally follow people like that. But if I look at replies to others, especially to popular accounts, it's definitely there.
