3. The first cause of further movement/displacement of refugees is the deterioration of their situation in their first country of refuge. Iran hosts 3,49 Million refugees, mostly Afghans (i.e. with nowhere to go) who primarily live in urban areas.

6/7 People lived in Germany on average 11,8 years prior to #naturalization, longer than in 2023. Interesting as the minimum was shortened to 5 years! The average hides a mixed picture: Syrians resided in Germany 7,4 years, while Turks over 23 years. Again: the effect of the 2024 reform is clear.

5/7 7% early #naturalizations due to #integration achievements: this is less than before, as forseen in our recent paper. Question: how many of these came through before the reform entered into force with the "Turbo-naturalization" after 3 years of residence?
