Couldn’t get into it. When they put her in a slinky evening gown in the first episode (even though she’s a tough as nails CIA op?!), I lost interest. Tired of even supposedly smart female characters being used as clothes hangers.

I love Kreider. His book of essays “We Learn Nothing” still ranks in my top ten. It’s a pretty easy read if you ever wanna pick it up.

It’s demotivating to push a dichotomy between protest tx that “work” vs. ones that “don’t.” We have to do both. Public awareness first, then harnessing it to a specific goal. We’re still in early days, folks.

Yep. I’m diving in to my work with the American Red Cross. With FEMA a non entity now and climate change still making disasters worse, I’m working with victims of floods and fires locally in Illinois until my kids move out and I can deploy to disaster zones around the country.
