Once, I had to do a project for an art class that required you to fold every page in a hard cover book in a creative way so that it created a "sculpture." It looked great and the instructor loved it, but it hurt my heart.

Wood chips?

They're valuable because as the rot, ER, compost, they add necessary components to the soil.

Don't put directly place on plants til they've composted or you'll burn your plants!
