@kierongillen.bsky.social Today I reread two of my favorite books; The Power Fantasy and Frankenstein. One is about a physically abominable creature committing acts of violence while thoughtfully philosophizing on the nature of his terrible existence, and the other is Frankenstein.

interested by the switch from amoral in the og series to immoral here... perhaps we're seeing DIE be corrupted by someone who truly does have intentions beyond survival and existence?

for me the process wasnt exciting or euphoric as much as the late stages where I've done a lot of the transitioning and am happy with where i am in terms of gender

My pull list is essentially just everything by Ewing, Gillen and Camp. Planning on adding AWW if I can get the first two trades soon

some more examples, shouting down valentina and lighting a cigarette/cigar. i feel like the more i look the more i notice differences in their mannerisms and physicality which feels near impossible to convey in a comic but you somehow pulled it off?! props to you

@casparw.bsky.social I've noticed something in TPF and wondered if it's intentional. I've seen in a lot of cases that Dev will do something that we've seen jacky do but in 3x the number of panels, i'm curious if that's meant to show how much he's thinking about every action or just a coincidence
