On Radio 4 right now Rachel Reeves saying they want to get "spades in the ground" on the Heathrow runway expansion. Isn't that a bit counterproductive? Surely using some sort of machinery like bulldozers and excavators would be more efficient? No wonder this country is fecked.

Can't help but notice that a lot of the Xmas adverts promise to "make Xmas magic" or a "magical Xmas". Without wishing to sound ungrateful I can't imagine that a Lynx gift set from Boots is going to bring magic to anyone's Xmas.
