Picked up my pens again for the first time in months. These are from a 6-hour life drawing marathon.

We have the same dog! This is PB.

Love the texture in the clouds, especially the effect created by the radial lines.

You might hear it if something made the blade vibrate. Unlikely to happen when just swinging it around, but you might hear it while unsheathing the sword. Also depends on the steel. A prop sword might not be "springy" enough to produce the "shing" sound.

That's not necessarily the case. Lots of recruits are very young and may not know better at the time. A lot of them will probably realize that the price they're paying is not worth the promised benefits.

Oh wow. I'm curious as to what you thought didn't work. Was it not in line with your original vision?
