oh yeah I didn't even mention the fact that you have to draw the same character multiple times with different angles... and somehow manage to keep the same proportions and everything accurately 😵‍💫

to be fair I think it's more stressful to draw ref sheets than, let's say, any other drawing made for fun
you have to draw everything "more perfectly" than usual because unlike a one time drawing, it's going to be used again and again as a model
every shape and detail has to be super accurate...
