Finally getting around to playing with the open source models in ComfyUI and it’s making me feel really creative again. I have so many days of footage I can play with from my archive I’m excited to see what weirdness I can create with it.

I'm pro machine learning and against AI slop, closed models, and theft. Great stuff is happening but just not where you might happen to be looking, and like anything, sustainable pro-humanity solutions are not always incentivised. We have to work together to create a sustainable AI future.

I adore their tools. You can fully also replace zoom with FaceTime, record it and make notes entirely with their Apple Intelligence stuff on device.

Most actually existing AI can be made at least sustainable with technology we already have if there were rules to enforce it as well. LLMS don’t need so much data. It’s just for advertising and data harvesting.

Tonight I got this little momma, the sister of the first cat I recused. Both these little girls were pregnant and as adorable as they come. She is at the Celia Hammond trust. The security guard caught her for me finally right before the building are demolished.

Today I rescued the sweetest cat who is under a year old living in a site to be demolished in a week. We couldn’t take her but she’s at Celia Hammond Trust in Lewisham if anyone wants a Calico with a personality that is pure love. Her name is, at present, Phoenix. I’m 💔 but our house it full up.

I’d settle for making data sharing between companies a law. It’s the same everywhere. I had to double chip my poor cat because the UK company couldn’t access the American company’s records.

AI is amazing - just not the AI that big tech is trying to convince you to surrender all your data to use. There are other ways to do this that rock. You can run and train models locally that are open source and ethical as an artist. Exhibit A - Wekinator www.wekinator.org

Novel interaction has never been more obvious. So many similar diy interfaces appear again and again on social but never seem to come to market or really change our locked in form factors. We need to ask for more from our technologies.
