[ her movements and expression indicate clear sarcasm, and she reaches down to pick up the portal gun again. ]

[ shoots him with the portal gun ] [ it doesn't do anything but it conveys the intent ]

‘yep. so do you wanna help or not?’

[ she jabs a finger against his chest— ]

‘... are going to have to listen to me, because your only advantage is that this is faster. i can still do this myself, without your help. so don't act so cocky.’

‘i know.’

[ she stalks back over to him. sets the portal gun down beside her, so that she can sign with both hands. ]

‘i'm not stupid. i know this place better than you. going "horizontal" when you can break shit like this will get me places i couldn't go before. that's the idea here. —

[ finally she stops and turns toward him impatiently. ]

‘not true.’

[ immediately followed by, ]

‘shut up.’

[ she's not even giving him the courtesy of signing shes just walking on past him again. ]

[ instinctively whacking (or attempting to whack) him in the head with the portal gun full force ]

[ . well if he's destroying walls that's a much better chance of a way out... backing up a little and peering after him... ]

[ flipping him off as she walks past ]

[ waving her hand, motioning for him to move out of the way. ]

[ stopping and just glaring at him, unamused. ]

[ pausing. turning around to make sure she didn't just accidentally walk through a portal. ... silently continuing on her way. ]

[ points her portal gun at him for like .5 seconds before immediately disregarding him and walking past him ]

[ ... her eyes lock onto the stranger, as she stops in her tracks. she says nothing. simply eyeing her. ]

[ chell shoots another camera off the wall without missing a beat. ]

[ the effort is most certainly appreciated. she kind of needs her hand to communicate. she offers a brisk nod as she lets go. ]

[ casting her gaze around—until finally, she catches sight of the dim lights. her own eyes meet the unfamiliar ones squarely, just staring. ]

[ a slight smirk. she offers a hand to shake. ]
