I don’t know why content creators, who misuse copyrighted material, under the assumption that merely including a fair use disclaimer is enough, get angry.

There is also the assumption that content creators bring eyes to the sport. Even if that’s true, they don’t split their revenue with F1.

I know I've been banging on about this topic for a few days now, but this writer perfectly summarises everything wrong with clickbait "journalism", especially the #F1 landscape...

Oddly enough one of the other guys is Australian (lowerlaptime) but yeah, it seems like women F1 content creators have better “success” on short form platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Or only benefit when they’re a part of a larger team.

Alas, keep on carrying on with the good work. You are one of 5 creators I actually follow and support because you each offer something original. Everything else follows a formula (ha!) that I’m just not interested in anymore.

It’s absolutely a dreadful self-referential cycle. And the “F1 content creator” space, you know what I mean, is 100% bought into it. It makes sure the wheel is constantly turning and I suppose they all profit from that in one way or another.

That’s crazy money & makes sense why Planet F1 picked up the story. The journalist is struggling to answer my question on source material. Because I’ve got Press Reader and checked the print editions, this story doesn’t exist!

Fun fact: I went to grad school at Akron where I covered Chris Bassitt and the baseball team. If the #bluejays hang on to win, I’m pretty sure he’ll be the first and only pitcher to have become a champion.

It really made me stop and think why such a popular “news” account made a deliberate attempt to use the wrong news source? Spot the difference, how does an article cross reference one item but not the point of orgin regarding the breaking news? 🤔🤔🤔

You have a really genuine approach that is refreshing and you haven’t got the second worst accent in the world!

Sadly there has been a massive decline in reading comprehension and my anecdotal observations are that people have less time, pay less attention and are no longer capable of civil “debate”. I remember doing debates in school and being able to discuss music, games, sport without abuse and slurs.
