JFC! The right already stripped abortion rights from millions of women. Contraception is next.

Project 2025 made the agenda clear. This was never about saving babies. It’s about control, pushing women back into submission and forcing more births.

Y'all. Please call your representatives and tell them no to the SAVE act. If the save act passes... That's it.

Like, I don't know how else to make folks care about their futures and freedoms anymore.

I'm exhausted from warning people for the majority of my adult life.

This millennial is tired.

Older Chicagoans at high risk of losing SNAP food assistance as new work rules kick in Able-bodied adults 55 to 64 years old must work or volunteer 80 hours a month by May. Last year, fewer than half had enough work hours.

Thanks to Donald Trump, American seniors will go hungry while the rich get tax breaks.

It’s clear where his priorities lie, and they aren’t with you.

"Theoretical capability and observed usage by occupational category" a chart by Anthropic, showing that (in theory I guess) management, biz and finance, computers and math, architecture and engineering life & social sciences, the law, arts and media, sales and office & admin could all be using AI a lot but somehow aren't

I find this chart by Anthropic about theoretical vs. actual AI usage, from @pbump.com's latest newsletter, very funny, and I think it's worth explaining why, and also please push back on any of this if you disagree, as I may write about it in the future.

To be clear: the SAVE Act does not simply require the identification voting ALREADY requires. It demands proof of CITIZENSHIP— a birth certificate with a name that matches yours now (bye, bye, married women), or a passport— both of which are expensive and take a long time to obtain.

There once was a time when management and my colleagues at WaPo reported on and supported me when a data-mining algorithm made the worst moment of my life even harder.

Now it’s their business strategy. There is no bottom.

Even taking Trump’s confused reasons for the Iran war at face value, it’s still a total disaster | Jonathan Freedland Two weeks in, it’s increasingly clear that the US-led war has taken every problem it aimed to solve – and made it worse, says Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland

A president invoking race based genetics to bar immigrants isn't leadership, it's hate.

Congress, the media, and the American public need to call this out immediately.

But he’ll take their money and a 400 million dollar plane.👇

Now the Pentagon wants ANOTHER $500B, on top of Trump's record-setting $1T military budget.

Imagine what we could spend that money on instead.
