Yeonsoo Go, a South Korean native, immigrated from Seoul with her mother on a religious visa roughly four years ago and was switching to a student visa.

US military chaplaincy marks 250 years of providing spiritual support to service members (RNS) — Chaplains serve in hospitals, hospices and manufacturing plants, and while chaplaincy researchers see commonalities among them, there are also key differences in the military.

Over 250 years, the U.S. military has included Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu chaplains serving members of those faiths, other beliefs and none.
