3.5 hours in and I love it so far. The cutscenes and voice acting are SO FUCKING GOOD i love them so much i love the twins too clef is such an asshole but i love her

also this isn't to say I think AI should be used in companies. I think genAI shouldn't exist at all, but I'm being a bit lenient here.

Like, if complaint emails are getting sent to an AI to respond to, that's not really a business at that point no? Same with AI generated ads and shit. its more machine than business, and as such I don't think it should qualify for any business-based laws or income.

Yknow, just with everything going on right now with AI and shit and companies going head over heels for it, there should be some sort of law that for a business to be considered a business, some like 95% of all work in all divisions done by humans. I'm not well-versed in the law or anything tho

Lost Lace has a 3 damage attack??

Though aside from my complaints I really love this game! I love the crest system, the silk skills, and the movement abilities so much. Its much more a movement game than Hollow Knight and I'm super happy about that.

Otherwise, I feel like too many enemies deal two damage. This point isn't a "oh its too hard" issue (except fuck the high halls arena), it just makes your first encounter with voided enemies less special and make some bosses feel less special too. Oh also tools felt worse than in Hollow Knight. 3/3

My main gripe is double contact damage on so many bosses, especially those that take up so much of the arena. Lost Lace doubt contact damage is fine because she's voided of course. It just feels like unnecessary buffing. Maybe for some bosses people damage-tanked too much? idk. 2/?

Just beat true ending, pretty good final boss, but it felt a bit lackluster since many of the attacks were just upgrades of Lace's first battles, or voided enemy attacks. Definitely no Radiance, but still good. 1/?
