Hopefully they can fix these issues in an update since they're mostly technical, otherwise it's a decent game and I like it when franchises try their hand at other genres

Also there's a roguelike mode that you unlock after beating the game that also has co-op, it's kinda awkward

I also platinum'd the game, and it was a tough fight. There's a lot of sidequests and a LOT to collect for 100%, it feels like they reward you for anything and everything, which is good but it left me searching the map a lot

Took about 50 hours, I'm kinda glad to be done tbh 😅

For a narrative-focused game, the story is...ok, it's mainly just "Where is this boy? Is he dead?"

The dialogue can be kinda annoying too, it's like they do the "we're Costco Guys" bit but replaced with "we're Spartans"

Btw the two main characters are these guys which I couldn't unhear lol

The artstyle's been a bit polarizing, I think it's good as long as you don't zoom in on the characters, which some cutscenes do unfortunately

It's like a mix of pixel art and a "painting-like" look, which I think is cool

An Onyx Strix, an enemy in God of War: Sons of Sparta that can heal other nearby enemies at a very fast rate

Enemy design is pretty decent besides that fucking bird that I hate

It's target #1 at all times and it would often fly out of reach especially early game, the song it sings is gonna be in my nightmares

The game can actually be fun at times (when it lets you play it), the combat's pretty neat and there's little challenges sprinkled everywhere

I was on Spartan (hard) mode so I struggled quite a bit lol

For one thing, it's buggy as hell. Crashed 3 times and softlocked like 7 times during my playthrough

Menus get laggy/unusable, frames drop, audio/cutscenes loop, it started feeling like a mess 😬

This game is...interesting, like there's clearly effort put here and it's enjoyable, but has some glaring problems holding it back, a little disappointing
