In my opinion how valuable that data is could be anything, but it's never tangible; natural resources are literally disappearing before our eyes so what are we valuing and prioritizing when letting construction for data centers in Michigan? And more importantly why?

In my opinion, these data centers are consuming way more value than that data will ever be worth Full Stop 🌲 🏞️>💰🖥️ I implore you to consider, •The amount of land used, potentially expanding in the future. Ex: Meta's Forth Worth Data Center has taken 170 acres since construction including expansions. Look it up. •The likelihood of The Great Lakes being used as a resource by any data centers; The Great Lakes has *fresh* water and we have the blessing of living next to it. Protect it •Residents in Texas have spoken against Meta's Data Center's light pollution; Night for animals and people would never again be night with a giant night light on 24/7. •Residents who live near Data Centers have spoken regarding their electricity bill rising because of how much energy these buildings use on, just, a constant, basis; residents are paying a higher electricity bill as a result of data centers. A+B=C. •These data centers DO NOT have a sleep mode because they are being used, also constantly. What a coincidence. Take that D. •Even if data centers offset the costs of anything and everything, land/resources are still used + the ecosystem is still being affected negatively. But hey your electricity bill is back to how it was, maybe your water bill will increase instead idk.
