Grabbed The US Horse Soldier 1776-1943 this week and I couldn't be happier - so much amazing info on uniforms, equipment, saddles, etc. Even better are the super detailed sketches. Awesome stuff for my US-Mexican War and 2nd Seminole War games.

I dunno why I didn't magnetize the bases for these guys before i primed most of them, but i went through 120 guys last night magnetizing. Ones with 3dp bases are not hard, the blue magnet stick makes it easy. but the older bases dont have spots for magnets so I have to cut their supports a little
